July’s New York Pharma Forum Special Program featured Mr. Jay Taylor, Vice President for International Advocacy at PhRMA, discussing issues facing the industry in 2017 and beyond.
SPEAKER: Mr. Jay Taylor, Vice President, International Advocacy, PhRMA
Jay Taylor is Vice President of International Affairs and Advocacy at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), in which capacity he manages PhRMA’s international policy advocacy efforts.
Prior to Joining PhRMA, Jay was a partner at an international law firm, where he specialized in international trade policy. Previously, Jay served as Associate General Counsel at the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), where he managed and litigated international trade disputes, and drafted and negotiated free trade agreements.
Mr. Taylor received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, and a law degree from Tulane University.
The July Program included a stimulating discussion and networking reception at Riverpark, celebrity chef Tom Colicchio’s highly acclaimed restaurant on The Alexandria Center for Life Science’s campus.Members, colleagues and guests were able to enjoy the beautiful waterfront setting and views of the East River, relax on the terrace, meet old friends and make new acquaintances.
Prior to the program, Pfizer gave a limited number of guests a tour around their Center for Therapeutic Innovation facility at the Alexandria Center for Life Science.
